Since 2023 at KELENN Technology, she leads R&D and industrial projects; in 2024 she became Director of KTLabs and joined the executive committee.

Els Mannekens is an organic chemist who received her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry in 2001. She has now worked at ChemStream for 14 years as senior formulation chemist and specialises in the development of UV-curable inkjet inks for both 2D and 3D IJ printing applications, in the development of stable nano-pigment dispersions and in the synthesis of superabsorbent polymers.

In 2011 he left with Frazer Chesterman to establish FM Brooks, launching InPrint in Germany, Italy and the US; sold to RELX in 2019. He later co-founded FM Future and built the 16,000-strong FuturePrint community.
